Instant Studio Lighting

Terms of service

Effective 2 October 2026. These terms apply when you use the app, including without an account.

The service

Instant Studio Lighting creates AI-assisted relighted photos. Results can vary and may alter details. Review every result before relying on or publishing it.

Your photos

You must own or have permission to process each photo. Unlawful use, impersonation, harassment and infringement of privacy or intellectual-property rights are prohibited. You keep the rights you already had in your photos, and the rights in the results are yours; we claim no licence to use them beyond producing and storing them for you.

Credits

The app shows the credit cost before generation. Failed generations are refunded automatically. Store purchases remain subject to Apple or Google payment and refund rules.

Credits are a prepaid balance for use inside the app. They are not money, can be connected from your guest session to your own account, cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Guest access and optional accounts

You can buy and use credits without registering. Guest access may be lost if you remove the app or its stored credentials. An optional account lets you access your credit balance on other supported devices and after reinstalling. Your images are stored locally and do not sync between devices. Apple Restore Purchases does not recover a guest credit balance.

Accounts

You may delete your account in the app. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. Legally required records are retained only as needed and pseudonymised where possible.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that any particular photo will relight well, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that results will be fit for a specific purpose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the app asks you to accept the new version before your next generation, and the effective date above changes.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app or for support. Purchases made through their stores are also governed by their own terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection under the law of the country where you habitually live. A dispute may be brought before any court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Consumers in Sweden may also ask the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) to review an eligible dispute after first contacting us.
